“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart.” - Theodore Roosevelt

Our small flock of Babydoll and Shetland sheep graze our kale cover crop in the newly planted “Eevee’s Vineyard.”

At Quady North, we believe thatit is our duty to be responsible stewards of our land, to treat our employees with fairness and respect, to be an active and supportive member of our community, and to minimize our carbon footprint and the environmental effects of our activites. To that end, we are proud members of LIVE, an Oregon based organization committed to sustainable winegrowing, and our estate vineyard and winery are certified Organic by the Oregon Department of Agriculture.

In partnership with the Watson family, we maintain a colony of beehives on the property, used for honey and pollinating other crops. Our locally grown honey is for sale in our tasting room. For more information, visit Amy's Beehives – Amy's Beehives.

In 2025, in cooperation with the Pollinator Partnership, we began planting a Monarch Butterfly habitat zone. This area is meant to provide a place for the endangered species to rest and feed during its annual migration along the Pacific coast. For more information, visit Homepage | Pollinator.org

Now (re)using Oregon’s first reusable bottle.

In 2024, Quady North became one of the first wineries to begin using the new Revino reusable bottle. This bottle can be used up to 50 times, and has a carbon footprint 10x smaller than a single use, glass bottle.

Return any used Revino bottle to our tasting room for a $1 credit towards a future purchase, or, visit www.revinobottles.com for a live map showing return options.

Quady North has been a member of LIVE since 2012. LIVE is a comprehensive sustainability certification organization that promotes a science-based approach, and considers all aspects of the vineyard and winery operations.

Our winery and Estate “Mae’s Vineyard” are both certified Organic. No synthetic pesticides or fertilizers are used in the vineyard. In the winery, only sulfur dioxide is used as a preservative.
